Extraordinary theatre in unexpected places

Fireraiser's current show Femme Fatale, written by Polly Wiseman, is in touring Sussex this September prior to a three-week run in London in October 2019. The show is an unconventional and darkly comedic drama about fame, failure and feminism featuring original writing, music and film in a cabaret set up for an evening of uncompromising entertainment.

Fireraisers is an innovative female-led performance company, committed to discovering new audiences through accessible and exciting productions. The Sussex-based company perform nationally by making imaginative use of new technologies allied to strong new writing to create unique and memorable work.
In addition to co-productions with conventional theatre venues such as Soho Theatre and Birmingham Rep, the company’s mission is to present work in startling and unusual locations. These have included: Selfridges Window on Oxford Street; a nightclub where they recreated the battle of Waterloo; and a performance of The Tempest on Brighton beach on an oilrig attracted a record audience of 40,000 in one night.
